FTDI cable and connector

Hi guys,

I got my robot kit this weekend and assembled it! lots of fun. I will post some pics soon. I now want to start hacking it. sooo where can i buy the ftdi cable and the 6-pin connector (didn't come in my package).

We're glad you like your kit! The pins for plugging in are already installed on the board. It is the six pin connector labeled serial.

You can buy a FTDI cable at Sparkfun:

It's also available at other hobby electronic sites as well as distributors like Mouser:

In the mean time, I'm working on setting up our GIThub to post the code and serial protocol you will need to experiment with.

thanks for the links. Didn't realize that the connector was already soldered. Would be great to see the code soon :)
